One of the most meaningful rhythms in life at our Christian school is chapel. Once a month, we pause our regular routines and gather together as a school community to worship, learn, and grow in faith. Chapel is a time when students, staff, families, and supporters come together to remember who we are and why we are here—rooted in Christ and united as one community.
A Community That Gathers Together
Chapels take place once a month, bringing the entire school together in a shared space. Parents, grandparents, and school supporters are warmly invited to attend, making chapel a true community gathering rather than a student-only event. These moments offer families a glimpse into the spiritual life of the school and create opportunities for shared worship across generations.
Seeing students seated alongside teachers, parents, and grandparents is a powerful reminder that faith is not lived in isolation. Chapel reinforces that we are part of something bigger—a community centered on God’s love and truth.
Student-Led and Class-Planned
One of the most special aspects of chapel is that classes take turns planning and leading each service. Rather than chapels being led only by staff, students are given meaningful responsibility and ownership in shaping these gatherings.
Each class chooses a theme that connects directly to what they are learning in the classroom. Through Scripture readings, skits, artwork, music, and presentations, students share how they are growing in both knowledge and faith. This approach helps students see that faith is not separate from learning—it is woven into every subject and experience.
Praise, Worship, and Learning Together
Every chapel includes a time of praise and worship, inviting the whole community to sing together and lift their voices in gratitude to God. Music plays an important role in helping students express faith, learn Scripture, and experience worship as something joyful and shared.
Alongside worship, chapel is a time of learning together as a community.
